Thanks for being a valued Windows Server and WSUS customer! Can you give detailed error messages else there is no way anyone can help as the possibilities are to vast as far as reasons go. Plus, we wanted to preserve compatibility with Windows Server 2003 R2 if at all possible. .NET 4.5 is not available on Windows Server 2003 R2. I am posting my question in wsus forum. Driver Detective 9. Wrote and application to replace the characters and the size of that xml reduced drastically. There has to be an explanation.
Its probably the proxy causing the problem, even though I have the firewall client installed which allows most programs to comunicate with the proxy that dont have proxy specific settings.I can Driver Detective 9. I dabble in a little HTML, CSS & Design. Please contact me to troubleshoot the issue.
