After installing the latest patches my Right Blocks are gone! I removed that code from my existing child header.php and now the site is back up. You should thus check if the file /home/choename/public_html/nuke/themes/DeepBlue/theme.php is there and is readable by the web server and that there is no .htaccess file (which is usually hidden) somewhere forbidding access It's resolved, but I really wish I knew what caused the weirdness to begin with, in case I run into it again. website here
